After a night of quasi debauchery, pajamas and pizza party sounds like the perfect remedy. But when the weather is 75 degrees and sunny, getting out of bed becomes a priority. A person like me, never wastes an opportunity to wear the perfect spring outfit (and her most recent DIY project). So even though I might not be all that up to socializing with the friendly people of Manhattan, at least I made the effort to visit some of my favorite characters in my life- The Sneaky Weasel aka La Comadreja Esniki
So who is this sneaky weasel you ask (besides a fellow Panamanian and one of the most hilarious people I met- which explains my unfiltered laughter above)? The Sneaky Weasel is a master at the art of capturing outfits or moments that most of us have to do a double-take when seeing. By double-take I don't mean, turning your head to appreciate a well put-together outfit, I mean turning your head to verify that what you just saw was actually true. One thing I've learned from my short time in NYC is that people are fearless when dressing and sometimes, this comes at a price. For some it might just be a couple of weird looks but for others, it might be getting a spot in the Sneaky Weasel blog. I have to admit I am glad I am not earning a spot there (for now- knock on wood) because I don't think that would aid my reputation. But for now, I have to admit I am having a hell of a good time reading what the Weasel thinks about what she encounters in the streets of NYC (and other places- take this as a warning).
In any case, I recommend you guys take a look because I am sure you might feel a sense of relief that someone else agrees with your thought when you (i.e.) saw that man wearing pointy white loafers. If that doesn't do it for you, then do it for simply getting a good laugh in your system--as effective as a happy pill I've been told. And, because talking about the Weasel's talents isn't enough, here are some pictures taken by hers truly... pretty good, eh?
